The Present

The Future

LCPF was born out of confusion and bewilderment which quickly transformed into passion and resolve. As the idea grew, so did the board who have all been impacted personally or professionally by Perthes.

Relying on volunteers and self funding, our fledgling year was a resounding success! We established an online presence and met many wonderful people through social media. In October of 2017, in conjunction with the International Perthes Study Group, we hosted the first annual Parents Perthes Conference which boasted a satisfaction rating of 95%! In the coming years we will continue offering high quality information that is both accessible and accurate.

We must look toward the future for security and growth. Financial endowments and recurring donations will help LCPF achieve our goals of assisting families in purchasing medical supplies and accommodations as well as treatment and travel costs to see specialists. Additionally, a portion of our proposed budget is earmarked for funding research initiatives. These are directives that will change the journey for those diagnosed with Perthes for generations to follow.

Please consider joining LCPF as a Benefactor or contact me to inquire about joining our Founding Circle.
